Love in Communicator

I work for a prestigious software consultancy company and our client is one of the largest banks in US. For communication purposes within the bank network, we use software called Microsoft Office Communicator. Strictly meant for business, it has expanded its scope to personal talking as well as match making.

One of my office colleague is the latest victim. He is around 2 years elder to me, but still treats me as his equal. I admire him a lot for such resilience. I can always find him doing things that will amaze anybody. Yet again he did something. He found a girl for himself on office communicator chat, with whom he will be getting married soon. Amazingly neither did the girl belong to the our consultancy company nor the same geographical region. However she is serving the same bank in some other reputed software company. Amazing isnt it ?

The internet revolution after making a big mark in ways of finding love across boundaries and geographies has entered into the arena of building up office romance as well. I could find many of my colleagues (married + unmarried) indulging in romantic talks with the opposite sex. They are becoming more romantic in communicator chats, than may be in the real world. I wonder if the virtualization of love is complete? Offering the discrete mode of communication available (free of cost), this has indeed changed the definition of fidelity in a relationship. Wonder what'z coming next ?
